I am always trying to change it up at the gym. I get bored easily. So a couple of Friday's ago I decided to try the water aerobics class. I heard that my cycling teacher was teaching so I thought it would be a good workout.
I arrived to a class of about a dozen people in varying sexes, colors and sizes. The one thing that was evident is that they were all older than me. I was joining the geriatric group one day before my 40th birthday. How fitting.
I gave it a try and believe it or not I got my heart rate up pretty good. I found the higher I bounced the higher my heart rate. I also found that If I was sweating I didn't know it because of the water splashing all over my face. This part I liked.
The one thing I really enjoyed about this class was the fact that I did not have to wear protective pads like one might use when they are jogging. The more I thought about the bouncing factor , weak bladders and knowing that everyone was older than me, the more I realized that I was probably jumping around in a pool of pee!
OK, when it comes to senior aerobics, once is enough.

michelle, this post brought a smile to my face. hope all is going well. we need to get together.
p.s. you are young and beautiful as ever.

Hilarious Michelle! I shared this with my wife…she is turning 40 in January as well.
